Past Le Mans 24 Hours winner and ex-Formula 1 driver Marc Gene will race the new Nissan GT-R LM NISMO in the full 2015 World Endurance Championship.
The Spaniard, who won the 24 Hours with Peugeot in 2009, was the only driver to be announced on the launch of the radical new Nissan LMP1 car on Monday.

Gene finished second with Audi at Le Mans last year when as reserve driver he was a late replacement for the injured Loic Duval.
"I am delighted and very excited to drive for Nissan," said Gene.
"To be competing with Nissan in the LMP1 GT-R in the most demanding and prestigious race in the world is something I am very proud of."

Further drivers for Nissan's P1 programme, which will be a two-car full-season assault with a third for Le Mans, will be announced when the entry lists for the WEC and the 24 Hours are published on Thursday.
LMP2 frontrunner Olivier Pla, Nissan GT Academy graduate and GP3 racer Jann Mardenborough and Satoshi Motoyama, who drove Nissan's DeltaWing and ZEOD RS experimental Le Mans racers, are all expected to be part of the P1 programme.
